The 2023 Legislative Session starts in January and it is more crucial than ever
fight for legislation that advances our
rights and protects our freedoms! That's why ACLU New Mexico is hosting Legislative Advocacy 101 events throughout the state.
The events are schedule for the following dates:
The training will cover ways to help fight for legislation that protects and expands our rights, while making sure extremist attempts to attack our communities do not succeed. You will become equipped with tools and knowledge on how you can connect with other ACLU activists and engage with lawmakers on critical legislation this upcoming session.
You also will get details of legislation the ACLU is support this session and how you can join in ensuring groundbreaking bills can become law in New Mexico.

We participate in community events, the Annual MLK March and Breakfast, the NM Office of African American Affairs activities including the Black-Expo, Black History Month events, and our annual Juneteenth Celebration. We are involved in Criminal Justice, Education, Political Action, and other issues. Become a member and join a committee so we can be a force in our community.
